Follow the below guidelines for help,
and please do not ever hesitate to call.

  1. Seek immediate medical treatment. Often injuries which at first seem minor become serious.

  2. Notify your immediate supervisor right away. Most employers maintain forms for reporting of injuries.

  3. Request that your employer file the statutory Report of Injury, immediately. When employers neglect this requirement, you are at a disadvantage.

  4. Follow the specified medical directions. Often, employer’s workers’ compensation carriers try to deny workers’ compensation claims due to an employee’s failure to follow medical directions.

  5. Get the name, title and telephone number of any adjuster or case manager assigned to your claim by the employer’s insurance carrier.

  6. Keep copies of all medical and claim documents provided to you.

  7. If your injury arose out of an automobile collision with another vehicle, do not speak with any representative of the other driver’s insurance company without first speaking with us.

  8. If your injury gives rise to any personal injury claim, whether upon your own uninsured or underinsured motorists coverage, or upon the homeowners insurance coverage of a third party, again speak with us before giving any statement to an insurance company.

  9. If you are required to give a statement to a workers’ compensation case manager or adjuster, give us that person’s name, telephone number and the circumstances surrounding the taking of the statement.

  10. Call us immediately. It is never too soon for us to begin representing you. The insurance company will always be represented.
