Rick Barry is a 1976 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Law. Upon graduation, Rick served as a law clerk to the Honorable J.P. Morgan of the Missouri Supreme Court. Rick is former Assistant Chief Trial Attorney with the St. Louis County Prosecutor’s Office under George “Buzz” Westfall. As an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Rick tried over one hundred felony jury trials. 

Rick has been in private practice for over thirty years. He has obtained successful results in hundreds of cases in State and Federal Court. Many of these were on behalf of firefighters, paramedics, and police officers. Rick concentrates his practice in labor and employment law, personal injury, and workers’ compensation. Rick is one of only a few attorneys in this region specializing in representing first responders and their families.

Rick is a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA), the Bar Association of Missouri St. Louis (BAMSL), University of Missouri Alumni Association, United States Naval Academy Blue and Gold Association.

Megen Hoffman is an associate with the Law Offices of Rick Barry, P.C. Megen graduated magna cum laude from the St. Louis University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Sociology. In 2006, she graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law. During her time in law school, Megen served as Student Bar Association (SBA) representative and participated in the Civil Advocacy Clinic.

Megen began working as a law clerk with Law Offices of Rick Barry, P.C. in 2004. During her time as an attorney with the firm, she has gained extensive experience representing individuals, including firefighters, paramedics, and police officers, in a variety of matters such as personal injury, labor and employment law, municipal law, and criminal defense. Megen also has a wide range of experience litigating employment cases in both State and Federal Court.

Sean Barry is an associate with the Law Offices of Rick Barry, P.C. Sean graduated from DePaul University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in History.. After college, and managing several political campaigns throughout the midwest, Sean pursued his legal education at St. Louis University School of Law, where he was awarded a J.D. in 2012. During his time in law school, Sean clerked with Law Offices of Rick Barry, P.C.

 

During his time as an attorney with the firm, he has gained extensive experience representing individuals, including firefighters, paramedics, and police officers, in a variety of matters such as personal injury, workers’ compensation, labor and employment law, municipal law, and criminal defense.
